The Business Development team for MNCs is responsible for accelerating the sales of all Telefónica Products to the Top 400 MNC accounts. We are a cross organization that belongs to the Commercial Development Unit and that provides support to all the different MNCs Sales Units around the group. Our responsibilities are to lead the Digital Acceleration Plan, develop the relationship with all the different partners (and look for new ones), launch commercial campaigns and providing support to all the transformational deals of the MNC unit. To do that, we are generating new Innovative Digital Transformational speeches using a consultative sales approach and levering on innovative partners that can help us to strength our proposals. We have defined a consultative sales methodology, a digital plan and our responsibility is to execute this providing the require support to all the different MNCs Sales teams delivering this new pitches to the TOP MNCs accounts. We are continuously challenging the group to incorporate new sales methodologies, new partners or new products and solutions to position Telefonica at the front of the technology and MNCs offer.


As Business Development Manager you will be responsible of develop new pitches, identify new digital products that could be interesting for our MNC customers, lead commercial campaigns globally and provide support to all the Sales Managers and Global Account Managers to accelerate digital business. You will develop strong relationships with internal resources including Sales, Presales, Product Marketing, Legal and Service Management as well as MNCs customers and partners in order to achieve your goals. MNCs Digital Acceleration Plan will be at the core of your activities, so having a good understanding of all the different digital products and how they can help our customers to offer better experiences, improve efficiencies or even generate new business is key. Consultative sales and Digital Transformation will be in the center of your daily activity. 


• Ability to define a business plan, track its execution and define corrective actions if needed 
• Uncover customer opportunities and build a plan to convince them to “win” with our brand
• Generate proposals with a customer focus and showing expertise on customers’ industries
• Ability to coordinate and bring together all the right Telefonica parties to propose innovative solutions such as Sales Specialists, Presales and Product teams
• Being able to transform necessities in opportunities
• Transmitting the customer’s needs inside the organization
• Verify the viability of the customer’s needs
• Aggressive pursuit of new opportunities and develop new markets or accounts
• Guide the customer and support its digital transformational projects
• Ability to drive opportunities – “Take the lead and drive the customer”
• Excellent customer communication and interpersonal skills
• Proper planning to achieve the business objectives
• Lead and work with a virtual team across the globe


• 3+ years of business development or sales experience in digital services and IT sector

• Multi-lingual Fluent in English and Spanish
• Portuguese, French or German is a plus

• Consultative Selling
• Ability to generate innovative pitches using all Telefonica capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication, self- confidence
• Experience with multinational markets
• Innovative and entrepreneurship spirit

• Knowledge of digital services such as IoT, Big Data, Cloud, Security among others
• Telecommunication and Network knowledge

• International Travels will be required
