AREA DESCRIPTION

At Customer Centric Networking, We are inventing Telefonica’s networks of tomorrow walking the Path of Innovation. Are you familiar with Web Development, Virtualizaton and open source? Are you interested in agile continuous development and deployment processes such as DevOps?

We are transforming the Edge of Telefonica’s Network using SDN and NFV open source technologies by deploying cloud resources at the doorstep of our customers. This will enable us to transform the way we will provide existing services and will enable us to create a new generation of network services.

MISION

You will be joining a team of highly motivated entrepreneurs that have decided to transform Telefónica Network and change the game rules disrupting Network actual ecosystem.
Your responsibility will be pushing the borders of virtualization technology combined with SDN to simplify Telefonica’s network whilst improving its flexibility and performance.
You should have a strong technical background and hands on experience on FULK STACK programming (Python, Java, Android, Angular.js are preferred languages of choice), using Open Source solutions, modern Web development frameworks, tons of energy (and even more motivation), high interest in experimenting, testing and quick learning.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop use cases on top of OnLife Networks cloud architecture. For that you must be comfortable using the following technologies:

Technological environment
Cloud (KVM)    
    • Proven experience working on Virtualized environments for 1 year (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
    • Java & Phython
    • Django and/or AngularJS proven experience
    • Linux Shell Scripting    
    • Open Nebula experience
    • Linux Containers
Devops    
    •Git & GitHub
    • Jenkins
    • Continuous delivery
    • Testing & QA Tools
    • DevOps experience
    • JIRA

L2/L3 networking
     • Routing protocols, TCP optimization, IPv6, ...)
    • Experience with Linux Bridges & IPTables    NDP, ARP, BGP

CHALLANGES:

Develop use cases on top of OnLife Cloud & SDN architecture requires problem solving skills to mix and match different technolgies.
Candidates should be familiar with lean approacjh for build-test-learn fast cycles being able to test solutions fast and pivot according to learnings.

SPECIFIC SKILLS

Collaboration, being able to work by himslef, comfortable with uncertainty

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Programming in some of the languages specified above

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Previous Experience with OnLife Networks would be ideal. Experience in cloud and SDN environments with be a plus.
