Sr Data Scientist 4th Platform en MADRID, ES

AREA DESCRIPTION

The 4th Platform Internal Use Cases unit identifies, prioritizes and develops key internal use cases leveraged on Big Data, Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence techniques to improve Telefonica’s performance in terms of revenues generation, cost savings and/or improved customer experience.

MISSION

Designs and develops analytical models, big data processes and AI-based services (recommendation engines, user profilers, optimization processes, anomaly detection, etc.) to be deployed across Telefonica’s Big Data Platforms.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

• Cooperates in the design and development of complex, high performance analytical models, big data algorithms and solutions that involve one or more of these domains: Big Data, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Analytics.
• Undertakes necessary data cleansing, analysis and modelling.
• Deals with Telefónica’s data sources map, data availability criteria, and privacy and data protection policies.
• Proposes new challenges to be answered with Telefonica’s data.
• Proactively collaborates and shares knowledge with colleagues from other Telefonica's Big Data teams.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

M.S or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Deep hands-off experience in complex machine learning models design and implementation. Deep learning (CNN, RNN) and Reinforcement Learning.
• Extensive experience with Big Data platforms: Hadoop, Hive, Yarn, Spark.
• Programming languages: Python required, Scala desirable.
• Full stack Data Analysis: Data Strategy - Data Modelling - Data Mining - Anomaly Detection - Segmentation - Classification – Prediction.
• Real experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS) desirable.
• Statistical Data Analysis &  Data Modeling

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

4+ years of experience working in the development of components in one or more of these areas: Advanced Analytics,Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence.
