What you’ll be doing?

• Develop, establish and ensure the execution of an Innovation Master Plan across Germany covering roadmap of planned P&S, including required strategy approach – buy / make / partner acquire
• Establish Strategic Trend Radar incl. description of prioritized innovative areas for Telefónica Germany
• Steering of innovation teams (Innovation Management, Banking & Payment Products, Video Products)
• Define overall Telefónica Germany banking & payment strategy as well as alignment of overall banking strategy with Telefonica Global
• Responsible for the due diligence process, commercial and contractual negotiations
• End 2 End responsibility of o2 Banking from product development, operations and marketing
• Develop and execute new TV & Video P&S in strong coordination with related business units
• Identify and implement new strategic partnerships with Tier-1 partner and start-ups (Sky, Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, Maxdome etc.)
• Develop and execute new business opportunities for Telefónica Germany in strong coordination with related business units and lead ad-hoc complex cross-business and/or cross country innovation projects
• Occasional presentations to Telefónica Germany Board and interfacing to Telefonica S.A., other OB’s
• CEOs and Directors from industry leading companies across DE positioned as eventual digital business partners
• CEOs from Innovative Global start-ups in areas relevant to established Digital priorities
• Hierarchical responsibilities: disciplinary responsibility for Innovation team

What you bring along?

• Completed studies or completed subject-specific vocational training in the business / technical environment
• At least 5-7 years relevant work experience in innovative products and / or services
• Strong sense and understanding of (digital) innovations
• Solid experience of working with external partners / service providers and management
• Strong understanding of the interaction of market dynamics, customer needs, corporate strategy and internal objectives and resources
• Analytical-conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and assertiveness
• High self-motivation and commitment
• Safe, professional and convincing appearance
• Proven leadership skills
• German and English business fluent, Spanish of advantage
• Very good MS Office knowledge
