Job Summary: 


  •        Build and improve various assets like digital frameworks, methodologies, accelerators for competitive advantage and thought leadership.
  •     Develop and publish thought leadership articles / white papers for increasing visibility in market.
  •     Formulate conceptual solutions that can be built as product / offerings that target a specific business problem area basis industry / domain experience
  •     Support in responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
  •     Identify and quantify cutting edge industry specific digital disruption opportunities for Downstream Oil and Gas clients through convergence of analytics & digital capabilities around plant worker, manufacturing operations & maintenance management
  •     Work in a team to develop the Business Digital strategy for the client and corresponding organizational enablers
  •    Drive opportunities around new customer value creation through digital capabilities. Develop value propositions and present to senior client leadership to drive meaningful discussions around potential solutions and business value creation.
  •     Lead visioning workshops around Digital capability assessment and identification of priority focus areas including mobility, analytics, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

 

  • Engineering Degree (Tier-1 institutes)
  • Discipline Chemical Engineering/ Process Engineering / Environmental Science
  • MBA from Tier 1, Business School

Experience


3-10 years of Consulting or industry experience in Oil & Gas industry in the Downstream space

  • Should have worked extensively in the Resources space and done work around Digital Transformation in Downstream Oil and Gas
  • Strong hands on expertise and demonstrated capabilities in envisioning and delivering digital transformation consulting engagements in Downstream Oil and Gas
  • Consulting or Industry functional experience in Supply Chain, Operations
  • Good understanding and appreciation of the overall industry dynamics and disruptive trends shaping the industry
  • Understanding of relevant digital initiatives across the value chain with potential impact
  • Experience in the below areas:

o   Refinery operations, Refinery Planning & Scheduling, hydrocarbon supply chain, including primary distribution and / or secondary distribution, Performance Management, Fuel Retail with an understanding of the application of Digital in these areas

  • Advanced knowledge of industry leading software in the downstream value chain in the above areas, such as AspenTech, Honeywell, etc.
  • Software selection experience for the above in the areas of:

o   Development of functional / non-functional requirements

o   Generation of a software evaluation matrix for the various software solutions options

o   Conducting workshops with various vendors and arrive at final score

o   Implementation experience of the above tools

o   Requirements gathering

o   Development of solution design

o   Configuration of the tools

o   Identification of solution gaps and design of workarounds / customization



  •  Define technology roadmap to enable digital aligned with digital strategy.
  •  Develop reference architecture for digital enterprise solutions.
  •  Design and implementation of solutions based on digital enablers such as, Analytics, Robotics, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Mobility etc.
  • Development of business case identifying the potential revenue and cost impact of the initiatives based on the above-mentioned enablers
  • Design of Digital Operating Model
  • Support technical team in the development of proof of concepts for critical functionalities and get client approval through structured workshops / presentations
  • Overall system implementation of the solution including, visualization portal, integration layer, operations applications, supply chain management tools, asset Management, including: detailed design, build, test, training, deployment and post go live support
  •  Project Management and Quality Assurance to coordinate all Digital initiatives and ensure business readiness from first day of operations

  •    Should possess a team oriented and collaborative approach, and excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
  •    Should be comfortable functioning in a broadly positioned and highly diverse consulting firm.
  •    Strong experience in handling client discussions
  •    Strong business process management skills
  •    Demonstrate a strong track record of solving complex business issues and delivering client satisfaction
  •    Negotiation, mediation and conflict management skills to resolve complex issues
  •    Excellent communication skills (written & spoken)
  •    Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative)
  •    Should be open to travel in and outside of Spain

Support other teams by:

  •    Providing functional expertise / inputs to the Change Management team in the areas of Change Impact Assessment, training, etc.
  •      Providing functional expertise / inputs to the QA team in review of test strategy and plan, test scenarios and test cases
