RocketShops is looking for a highly motivated all-round marketing intern to work from our office in Barcelona starting in April, May or June 2018! Are you ambitious, a self-starter and do you want to work for an innovative E-commerce startup in the vibrant city of Barcelona? Then read further.
ABOUT US
RocketShops is an E-commerce startup that sets up own webshops and helps online influencers like YouTube stars and other influencers to sell merchandise by setting up high converting webshops for them and assist them performing state of the art online marketing campaigns. We use innovative conversion and marketing methods to achieve the highest conversion rate possible.
YOUR TASKS
You will have a lot of responsibility in assisting in the football webshop project for the Spanish market. For the Spanish market, we are about to set up two online shops for football fans were we sell merchandise to football fans with a great focus on the World Cup 2018. You will be responsible for the daily management of the shop, stock management, conducting marketing research, contacting new potential customers, optimizing conversion rates, execute marketing plans and help with the customer service of the shops. Doing this you can use all our resources and will be coached by the owner.
YOUR WORKING DAY AT ROCKETSHOPS
You enter the office at 10.00h. The first thing you do is opening up your Asana (project management tool) and Slack to see which tasks you want to give the highest priority.
At 10.30h you conduct market research on which designs are most popular among the Spanish fans and which should sell best during the World Cup
At 11.30h you open Zendesk to answer questions from customers of the shops and solve issues that arise from these questions.
At 13.00h you will zoom in on one of the shops with Google Analytics to see how we can improve the conversion rate of the shop
From 14h to 15h you have lunch with the team in one of the many good restaurants that surround the office.
At 16h you are making an estimation of how much stock we should order for the next week and you contact new producers that might be interesting to work with.
At 17h you reach out to YouTubers to try to convince them to become customers of ours and start to use our fullfillment solution
At 18h You have a strategy meeting with the owner to see how we can further improve the company, automatize our processes using Zapier.
At 19h you leave the office and head to the beach with other people from RocketShops and the office to play some beach volleyball and drink some beers.
LOCATION
We work from our office in Gracia thathouses two other international start-ups.

-You are available for a minimum of 4 months
PAYMENT
You will receive a payment of €300 per month.
