Job Description
Gameloft Barcelona, the studio behind the mobile gaming hits Despicable Me: Minion Rush and Asphalt 8: Airborne is hiring a Junior Legal Counsel (IP/IT) to join the team.
Responsibilities
From the beginning of your journey with us, under the supervision of the Legal Lead Counsel based in Barcelona's studio, you will:
Intellectual Property:
- Advice and provide legal opinions to advertising teams on their projects implying IP questions (use of visuals, music, logos in advertising formats such as advergames, banners, etc.);
- Negotiate, draft and review assignments of rights, license agreements, terms an conditions and other types of agreements;
- Research and legal monitoring on IP regulations
Advertising: legal support to advertising teams worldwide
- Advice and provide legal opinion to advertising teams in the context of advertising campaigns (targeting, editorial review, mandatory mentions, etc);
- Research and legal monitor on advertising and marketing practices;
- Establish internal guidelines and best practices;
- Establish templates of agreements, negotiate and draft agreements with advertising partners (agencies, programmatic partners, etc), review of insertion orders and terms and conditions;
- Research and legal monitor on consumer law, privacy regulations (in particular the GDPR) and self-regulatory codes applicable in the industry.

Qué es lo que pedimos
- Degree
Required
- Master's Degree in Law / LLM
Experience in IP/IT and you have already validated your first successful experience (1 or 2 years) in the IP/IT department or a specialized law firm or an international companyGood knowledge of the principles of intellectual property, privacy law and contracts law in EuropeFluent Business English (both written and spoken), knowledge of a second language is a plus (Spanish or French appreciated)Assets
Open-minded, hard worker and organized. You are known for your capacities of integration in an international context. Your dynamism and great interpersonal skills will be a definitive asset for this position. Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical skills.Possibility to sign an internship agreement will be valuedAnd above all, motivation and a passion for video games!
