Objectives and responsibilities:

• Write clean code that interacts with Data Systems that is ready to be deployed, scaled, and maintained.
• Find time to play, experiment, explore and propose new ideas.
• Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• You will be working across our stack with languages like Node.js, C++, Python or technologies like Docker, MongoDB, Redis and more.

Qualifications required:

Experience:

• 4 years of experience as Database BackEnd Developer
• Very good programming skills are required. We are not asking for a particular Programming Language but for the capability to learn and understand fast a new programming language.
• Experience architecting and implementing large scale systems with knowledge of frontend, middleware and backend technologies.
• Experience with distributed systems, open source technologies and frameworks.
• Understanding of security of systems and networking.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Extensive knowledge of databases (SQL and non-SQL) and logical data models
• SQL language proficiency.
• Knowledge of virtual environments and cloud platforms.
• Experience in working with cognitive systems and/or declarative programming would be a plus
• Experience in Hadoop v2, MapReduce, HDFS, Hbase, Scala
• Experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
