ComTranslations.TV is looking for a Spanish native intern to support its growing subtitling department across a wide range of film, television, and entertainment projects.

Qualified candidates will be seniors or graduate students in subtitling/language related programs/degrees.
Responsibilities:
- Subtitling, simulation, spotting, transcribing, correlate, video adaptation, burn in
- Perform subtitling quality assurance
- Translating, editing and proofreading of text translations and dubbing scripts
- Perform linguistic quality assurance
- Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team under constant time pressure
- Terminology Management/glossary management
- Administration support to project manager and team members
Requirements:
- Native in Spanish and fluent in at least another language: English, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Italian, Danish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese
- Excellent prioritization skills and attention to detail is a must
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize work
- Subtitling or translation studies
- Subtitling software experience
- Eligible to work in Spain
Desired skills:
- Degree in subtitling/translation
- Fluent in other European languages
- Familiarity with translation tools
Location: Madrid, Spain
Start date: Immediate (6 month duration). Option of permanent after intern.
Our internships are full-time, from 09.30 to 18.30 Monday to Friday
