The Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Team manages the transportation network for Amazon, ensuring that the customer orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. To meet this goal, ATS is continually striving to innovate and provide best in class experience through the introduction of pioneering new products and services in the middle mile space.

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven team player to join as the Senior Business Developer for the Amazon Freight Partners (AFP) team, which owns the recruitment of new partners to help us build the next generation of transportation businesses. This person will drive and continuously optimize the recruitment process end-to-end, making sure the program recruits the highest quality partners.

Key job responsibilities

  • Effectively conduct recruitment activities, candidate sourcing and interviews, background and financial risk profile analysis, lead generation through partnerships with local communities.
  • Manage the candidate pipeline with a data-driven approach, work with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
  • Analyze, develop, and improve the recruitment process at all stages, from partner pitch calls to final interviews and debriefs with regional specificities for UK/CEU.
  • Provide high quality reports to leaders on recruitment pipeline health (using Salesforce, Excel, Tableau, and/or other data platforms).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive working experience in sales, sales operations, business development, or account management within a cross-functional organization.
  • Oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, and problem-solve.
  • Track record of delivering sales or business development results, optimizing processes with sales operations / recruitment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills when confronted with difficult situations exhibiting ability to keep the team focused and motivated.
  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience leading large accounts, sales and development teams.
  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematics and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in setting and managing expectations.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Salesforce.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with Tableau.
