MISIÓN

Global Pre-sales position responsible for the engineering of international services for global carriers and the Bid Management Process from the “go” decision through customer data capture, technical design, pricing and business case preparation.

 

PRINCIPALES ACTIVIDADES Y RESPONSABILIDADES

• Support wholesale customers and sales teams in the presales phase
• Lead customer technical engagement with a proactive and consultant approach
• Customer proposal definition and leadership from technical and economic perspective
• Definition and execution of Technical Account Plans
• Lead presales Account Team
• Create and manage high performing presales capabilities to support Offering defined.
• Maximize sales through new funnel generation and win ratio increase
• Lead action plans identified through
• Qualification and DRB processes
• Translate customer requirements to specific solutions utilizing Telefonica infrastructure in the Region
• Maintain a high level of understanding of current products and services as well as planned enhancement through formal and informal training
• Take initiative to learn in-depth the technologies, solutions, and products-internals
• Make in-depth, high-level technology and product presentations to the customer
• Interact with external customers and internal organizations to provide input to product marketing and development
• Manage all costing activities including submission to internal systems and negotiation with vendors or in-country Telefonica units
• Identify service level arrangements – “when, where, how” and coordinate these with various Telefonica entities
• Will prepare the global business case gathering all required economic information from regions and services in scope, ensuring the deal profitability. PnL responsible, apply margins and validation with Finance

FORMACIÓN ACADÉMICA REQUERIDA

Master Degree in Engineering. 
MBA (preferable).

 

CONOCIMIENTOS TÉCNICOS

-• Ability to work effectively, and lead a technical initiative in an international business environment
• Consultant / Pre-Sales experience required
• Demonstrated technical and financial knowledge and consultative sales skills
• Strong knowledge and exposure to the following areas of specialization: Ethernet, MPLS, Internet, and emerging technologies like SD-WAN technologies, SIP and Voice/IP Solutions
• IT/Cloud/Security knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, platform-internals, performance criteria and applications for the wholesale segment.
• Competitive knowledge including solution, technology and product offerings
• Broad technical knowledge of Telefónica’s products and services

EXPERIENCIA PROFESIONAL

Minimum 5 year of experience in managing customers with large global projects in the Telecom industry.
