Position background

In the GTM analytics COE our mission is to deliver impact by building machine learning products to optimize pricing and marketing investments and provide guidance to our sales organization.

The software development team is developing the delivery products and tools that encapsulate the algorithms. These tools can come in the form of auto bidding algorithms (managing marketing investments in online platforms such as Amazon, Google, Bestbuy… etc) or that of building web-based workflow environment to help the organization plan how to distribute its marketing budget more effectively.

Tools and products and developed in could based environment on latest technologies and working with the leading platforms (Google, Facebook, Amazon … etc)

We are looking for developers that can help us bring machine learning algorithms to life from the front end part all the way back to the decision engine

What you will do

• Build web-based applications that provide ML driven solutions to business users

• Develop a platform that would enable algorithmic management of the marketing funds (bids) across HP’s various channels (Amazon, Google .. etc)

• Deploy machine learning models into production

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field

• Proven track record of in building web based software development and/or ML production

• Theoretical and applied skills in Machine Learning

• Experience with cloud infrastructure

• Experience with modern application lifecycle management tools (Git, Visual Studio, Intellij, Code Reviews) .

• Experience with automated builds, tests and deployment of libraries on a compute cluster.

  • Experience with devops with technologies such as docker, AWS, Azure etc

  • Understanding of Microservice architectures (Kubernetes, Openshift).

• Web development UI Framework (z. B. Angular, Spring MVC/UI, React, Node.js)

• Experience in deploying ML solutions on backend server

• Web-Services (Spring, REST etc.); Data management (SQL, Spring data, JPA etc.)

• Experience with deploying and running world-scale, AWS-based data solutions and familiar with tools such as Cloud Formation, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Athena and Redshift

• Strong UI/UX skills and understanding of usability concepts

• Languages: Python, Go, Java
