HP’s Replacement Parts Business (RPB) is part of the HP Customer Support Organization, under the Contractual Business Delivery Function.

The RPB Organization is responsible for supplying spare parts to meet out of warranty commitments for HP products.  It operates across markets, delivering parts in 112 countries and with Part Store e-commerce portals in 42 countries and in 12 languages.

The RPB Organization manages this function end to end, including but not limited to:  Sales, E-commerce Portal, Portfolio, Account Management, Parts Resellers, Pricing, Order Management, Marketing, Helpdesk, Delivery Performance Management.

Our main objective is to build a profitable business while improving customer and partners experience.

We are looking for an experienced Business Planning Manager to define, manage, and evaluate business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against defined strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B, B2C as well as skills related to strategic analysis and marketing. In this role you will be responsible for developing relationships with business owners and stakeholders to have a holistic understanding of the business identifying opportunities and driving them in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Develop recommendation from complex data and business analyses and formulates them into business plans.
  • Drive the construction of highly innovative models to analyse new aspects of business performance.
  • Establish the metrics required to measure business performance and recommends the go-forward strategy to address performance gaps.
  • Lead highly complex, time- sensitive market research projects and identifies compelling trends and opportunities for business leaders.
  • Develop business plans and proactively identify new opportunities as partners with client business leaders.
  • Develop and drives comprehensive business plan recommendations, based on analysis, emerging trends, and experience.
  • Identify or develops cutting- edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.
  • Counsel business leaders, recommends approaches for executing high-level strategies and develops creative solutions
  • Understand business change needs, assess the business impact of those changes, capture, analyse and document requirements and support the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders
Education and Experience Required

  • 10+ years total experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area.
  • Advanced university degree required (e.g., MBA).
Knowledge and skills

  • Extensive knowledge of research methodology for the most challenging business issues
  • Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
  • Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches and insights.
  • Extensive knowledge of how to analyse business problems using Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modelling.
  • Superior business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives that impact the organization.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
  • Strong leadership skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and management.
  • Ability to lead multiple, large, time sensitive projects or work streams.
  • Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data and make clear and compelling business planning recommendations.
