Compliance Project Manager en Sant Cugat del Vallès

The Compliance and Risk Management organization is part of HP Sales Operations and has the objective to lead continuous process improvement to manage risks pro-actively and ensure compliance through awareness.

Currently, the organization has an opening for Barcelona for a non-management Compliance Project Manager that will have the following primary responsibilities:

• Ensure the company observes legal standards and in-house policies.

• Develop and oversee control systems to prevent possible violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.

• Evaluate the efficacy of controls and focus on continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with the company's corporate Legal counsel, Finance teams and Risk Management to monitor the implementation of standards and regulations

• Prepare reports for senior leaders

• Analyze financial investment needs for compliance projects

• Engage with the legal and finance teams to develop budget proposals and reports, track budget activities, assist in projections of financial status, and advise the Director of critical investment needs

The preferred candidate for the Compliance Project Manager role should:

• Have experience in managing projects focused on investment needs

• Experience with compliance projects is a plus

• Excellent program management, problem solving, and analytical skills, and the ability to execute a program within the scope of overall strategies.

• Strong financial and business acumen.

• Superior communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation), leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills. Mastery in English language.

• Ability to lead complex process improvements using industry standard quality improvements tools and concepts, and has thorough understanding of change management processes and procedures.

Education and Experience Required:

•First-level university degree; advanced university degree preferred.

•Typically 10+ years of related experience in IT/business operations.

•Typically 8+ years of project management experience.

•PMP certification is a plus
