Account & Supplier Risk Manager

Are you a proficient leader with experience in eCommerce risk or technology?

As a Manager within the Expedia Fraud and Risk Operations team, you will collaborate with your peers around the world to ensure the smooth daily operation of the team, execute on initiatives focused on key departmental objectives and represent our team in forums spanning Expedia Group.

This role requires flexibility in adapting your approach as circumstances change. As Fraud never stops, neither do we. We are a 24 x 7 Operations team and scheduling flexibility is needed in this role. Our team values diverse strengths and recognizes the importance of individual contributions. What You'll Do:

  • Participate in multi-function initiatives to develop solutions to mitigate impacts to our customers and supply partners
  • Identify improvements within the account and supplier risk space for inclusion in quarterly planning asks within the risk organization
  • Collaborate with internal Product, Program, Technology, and Brand teams as roadmaps are created and execute on assigned roadmap items
  • Accountable for identifying staffing needs, handling office logistics, and hiring, training, and developing your team
  • Maintain standard reporting metrics and provide insight into operational non-standard reporting and metrics as required to improve team performance
  • Collaborate with Data Science and forecasting teams to analyze queue volumes to provide efficiency improvements
  • Integrate across teams ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • You will lead operational excellence programs to drive performance improvements
  • Respond to and resolve inbound escalations
  • Other duties as assigned

Who You Are:

  • Strong Leadership experience is vital
  • Experience working in a fraud, risk prevention or security operations environment
  • Superb verbal and written communication and organization skills allowing you to fluidly move between technical and business groups
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Spanish (other languages desirable)
  • Strong data and analytical experience essential
  • An innovative approach and ability to resolve loosely defined problems and translate complex thinking into practical application
  • Solid understanding of account security, payment fraud, fraud prevention techniques, and enthusiasm for protecting customer data
