The Role
The System integration manager, reporting to the Senior SIM, is responsible for:
Cooperating with the project, supervising and co-ordinating the Systems Integration in South Europe Supervising the consistent design, specification, integration, implementation, commissioning and testing of materials handling control system solutions. Monitoring the development and maintenance of control system interface standards and managing the customization in compliance with the design request and clients’s needs. Simulation and emulation development and their validation. Supervising and verifying the interface specifications for all control sub-systems and produce integration specification to complement high-level logistic system Functional Design Specification (FDS). Monitoring and co-ordinating general trends and developments in the design of software products (WMS and WCS). Managing the testing plans in according with project schedule and produce relative reporting. Reporting to PM team the status of art and facilitate their integration. Working with WMS customers and suppliers to develop appropriate and cost effective warehouse management and material flow solutions. Preparing a monthly report detailing progress on plans, resource requirements and potential problems. Managing, executing & attending acceptance test activities ; ensuring results are properly recorded and creating the appropiate reports.
What We Are Looking For
Masters degree in Software, Industrial, Mechanical, Management Engineering or Computer Science and Mathematics or equivalent experience At least 3 years of experience in development or technical management field (possibly in high–level automated logistic business) (Nice to have) previous experience as Software engineer in warehouse management system (WMS) Microsoft office and Microsoft project strong knowledge Ability to understand technical drawings Strong data analysis skills and ability to query on DB (Oracle, SQL) Oracle and SQL Fluent in English Availability to travel in Italy and Europe
