Cost Reduction & Quality Internship en Sant Cugat del Vallès

The intern will work in the DPA (Direct Procurement & Alliances) organization. As an intern student you'll work in a worldwide team of engineers focused in the development and industrialization of the new large format and 3D printers. The position will help you understand the different technologies used in our printers, the supply chain definition process and the supplier selection and data management. You'll be in direct contact with supplier managers allowing you to grow in partner management, and you'll be specially focused in cost reduction and quality projects.

Main responsibilities:

• Support the DPA Metals and Modules team to manage several cost focused projects (moving to a diffrent supplier, making changes in the current supplier or through negotiation).

• Support the team to create and consolidate the cost reduction ideas funnel.

• Deep dive into quality processes and quality data management.

Education and Experience and Skills

• Currently studying Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or other similar fields.

• Availability to establish internship agreement with University during 9-12 months, either on a part-time or full-time basis.

• Availability to start between n November -December 2020

• Good knowledge of Mechanical Design CAD software and of structured data management (Excel, data bases…)

• Strategic and Analytical thinking

• Ability to deal with internal stockholders & Team Player

• Good knowledge of structured data management (Excel, data bases…)

• Programing skills would be highly valued

• Autonomous, proactive, responsible & positive

• Fluent level in English
