As a Graduate Cloud Software developer, you will be member of the R&D community in the HP Large Format Printing division in Sant Cugat del Valles, Spain. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for the design and delivery of cloud infrastructure that supports end to end solutions for HP DesignJet and MultiJet Fusion products.

You will be part of the engineering team responsible for the design and development of the cloud infrastructure assets. To achieve this objective, you will be working with other members of different HP solutions on site and offshored teams.

You’ll manage security requirements to be sure we are aware of state of art and we fulfill security specs.

You will also review and produce requirements, specifications, and designs to assure best in class product development. You will work with marketing and customer assurance departments of the entire organization to deliver high quality HP Large Format products and ensure we’re leading security functionalities within LFP.

Specific responsibilities

Mainly, in collaboration software and firmware development teams, design, develop and debug cloud infrastructure assets to collect and process data from printers and provide end to end solutions to users.

  • In collaboration with onsite team and overseas team, define, implement and qualify the infrastructure to get data from new and current printers and provide meaningful information to users.
  • In collaboration with other software teams. Design, implement and qualify interfaces to solutions get this data and provide new applications to users.
  • In collabotation with reliability teams, assure the quality of our products and consistency of data.
  • In collaboration with reliability reams, qualify and develop automated testing to integrate new printers and features within the HP system.
  • Carry out all developments with a platform approach that facilitates reuse and efficiency.

Required Academic Backgroudn education
  • Recent graduate of Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication engineering or similar degree.


MUST

  • Experience in backend development
  • Experience with Java or any other OOP programming language
  • Interest in learning new programming languages and technologies (Go)
  • Unit testing
  • Git version control system
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
