Software Development Manager- Various Locations Event June 2020 en Madrid

Amazon will be hosting a hiring event to take place remotely on June 29th – July 1st. We are hiring for several tech teams in Dublin, Madrid, Berlin and Luxembourg.

Amazon is looking for passionate, results-oriented Software Development Managers. If you join our mission, you will leading a diverse team and have the opportunity to:

· Own the products, vision and roadmap for tools that are used by every single Amazon customer across almost a dozen marketplaces.

· Work with and learn many different technologies every day including Java, Hadoop, and AWS services like S3, DynamoDB, SQS, etc.

· Work on the full stack and entire lifecycle our products, from the roadmap to the design/architecture to implementation and continuous iterative development and deployment of services.

· Interface closely with internal and external customers to quickly drive new products, new features and new ways forward in the project, issue, ticket and develops management problem space across the company and externally.

· Own the team charter from end to end: including the product vision, direction, roadmap and the growth of the team.

· Have a Bachelors or a Masters degree on Computer Science or related field such as Mathematics or Engineering.

· Have extensive experience in software development experience building large scale distributed systems.

· Have a solid track record of technical lead experience.

· Have strong experience in hiring, developing and evaluating performance of engineers.

· An MBA or Masters in Computer Science or a related technical discipline · Have a background in backend development and large distributed systems.

· Experience with managing an agile development process.
