Sr Product Manager-Technical en Madrid

Amazon's EU Tech Consumer group defines and delivers new online shopping experiences to customers around the world. We build technology solutions (product, engineering, science) at every stage of the Consumer flywheel: Our Selling Partner teams build technology to improve the efficiency of selling partners, vendor managers, and brand specialists. Our Item Data Quality team uses a combination of tooling and ML to increase the data quality of the product listings from our selling partners. Our Search team builds best in class discovery solutions for EU languages and countries. Our category excellence teams (Automotive, Home Innovation, Consumables, Hardlines) build customer experiences that span the full stack, from backend systems to CX. And our Lifecycle team models the overarching customer journey for EU Consumers, developing solutions that help us measure, retain and grow our customer base over the long term.


We are looking for a Product Manager-Technical (PM-T) for our Consumables Program, based in our Madrid development center. Our team’s mission is to reinvent how customers shop for consumable products online. These are generally low-consideration, repeat purchase everyday items that customers shop for regularly both online and offline. As a PM-T, you will own defining key parts of the shopping journey, delivering a delightful and simple experience for customers. #techleader

Key responsibilities include:
· Create product strategy and vision, working backwards from customer needs.
· Translate the customer experience vision into a product and feature roadmap.
· Manage prioritization and trade-offs across customer experience, business goals, technical constraints, and operational excellence.
· Work closely with user experience designers, other product managers, and global engineering teams to build, test, and launch new features.
· Identify and resolve issues that impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

· 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in an engineering environment.
· Track record of successfully delivering projects on time, to scope, with high quality.
· Maturity, judgment, and proven ability to influence and work successfully across many disciplines.
· Independently driven, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction.
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers, business owners, and senior business leaders.

· MBA
· Knowledge of SQL.
· Experience with agile software development methodologies.
· Experience designing software architectures for scalability, reliability and performance.
· Experience with multiple European languages.
