DESCRIPCIÓN

Amazon team is looking for an experienced Senior Vendor Manager (SVM) to join our Prime Now team in ES. You will play a key role in helping us achieve our growth objectives by delivering a step change in performance for our Grocery business, improving the customer offer, expanding product selection and deepening relationships with some of our largest suppliers in ES. We expect the SVM to be a passionate customer and category advocate within Amazon, with proven ability to negotiate complex business terms, develop and manage relationships, drive results and demonstrate competency with business and financial analytics. The SVM must be an effective leader and communicator in working with some of Amazon’s most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for retail and a high level of flexibility and commitment.

The Prime Now business is committed to improving the way ES customers shop and buy products in a Consumables/Grocery setting. Key responsibilities:
· Manage relationships with some of our largest vendors and set and drive strategic priorities such as Lifecycle Management planning, profitability, cross functional marketing planning, and optimizing logistics set ups to deliver lower landed costs
· Plan and deliver annual and ongoing terms negotiation improvements
· Monitor and research industry and competitive trends to make sure that Amazon is offering the best for the customer.
· Develop strategic selection plans for Grocery categories
· Build and manage promotional strategy for your vendors, deliver product differentiation for customers and analyze and communicate vendor performance.
· Seek out ways to automate & simplify manual processes in order to improve productivity

REQUISITOS BÁSICOS

- Fluent in English and Spanish
- University degree required ideally in economics, management, engineering or an analytical discipline.
- 6+ years experience in e-Commerce or Retail, Finance or Consulting environment.
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to influence others in a business setting.
- Outstanding analytical skills, as demonstrated through prior roles held, and experience in P&L management, planning and forecasting.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbally.
- Technical aptitude and agility to master Amazon tools and processes.


REQUISITOS DESEADOS

- MBA preferred
- E-Commerce / Retail experience in FMCG
