PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Strive to innovate and provide best in class service levels through the introduction of pioneering new products and services. Provide strategic and tactical leadership over maintenance, repair and vendor management to support expansion across the European Union (EU) markets. Provide guidance and professional recommendations on equipment standardisation procurement to leverage scale, cost savings opportunities and to standardise maintenance activities as the business expands. Provide support for hard and soft services to ensure vendors align to SLA and KPI’s.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Utilisation of the BMS (Building Management Systems) and BAS (Building Automation Systems) to identify building efficiencies and energy management improvement opportunities.
· Support HVAC and refrigeration design, maintenance and repair strategy.
· Provide technical leadership and mentoring to facilities maintenance leadership and operations teams across multiple site environments.
· Review design process for expansion projects across the European markets.
· Oversee the maintenance acceptance part of commissioning large-scale, complex projects.
· Manage multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously as well as being able to influence, and develop relationships at all organisation levels.
· Review processes to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE.
· Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng.
· BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or BS/BA with 4+ years’ experience in maintenance or 2+ years Amazon experience.
· Proficient in operating BMS (Building Management Systems).
· Experience in Contractor and Compliance Management.
· HVAC, refrigeration and freezer design; maintenance and repair.
· Change Management and Process Standardisation.
· Energy Management; ability to identity and implement building optimisation efficiencies.
· 7+ years’ experience managing employees and their performance.
· Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with high expectations.
· Ability to travel up to 50%.
· Fluent in English and Spanish

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE.
· At least 2 years’ Vendor Relation Management, specifically for commercial refrigeration applications in large Distribution Centres.
· Background implementing and managing Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) programs for commercial refrigeration systems and food processing equipment.
· Deep understanding and knowledge of PdM, predictive tools/condition monitoring systems for electrical distribution, refrigeration equipment and/or food processing equipment.
· Implementation of vendor based maintenance solutions to drive equipment reliability and uptime for commercial refrigeration systems and food processing equipment.
· Experienced in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards.
· Knowledge of Hard and Soft Service Maintenance systems.
· Understanding of distribution processes and storage systems is a plus.
