Our Faurecia Interior Systems Business Group – Europe Division is looking for a VIE Tooling & Equipment Commodity Buyer m/f for its site in Valencia, Spain.

The role of a Commodity Buyer is to structure the building of a supplier panel for one or more commodities and ensure the overall productivity of the panel.

• Structure the building of the panel: participate in the definition and the implementation of the purchasing panel policy for assigned commodities, manage supplier selection according to Group criteria
• Panel management: ensure a regular follow-up of the supplier performance in relation with the Supplier Quality Assurance Manager and implement a supplier's reduction plan consistent with Divisions and in coordination with the Business Groups
• Manage the global suppliers productivity in relation with plant buyers
• Develop and implement tools to improve global productivity
• Negotiate and implement general agreements with the main suppliers
• Ensure the utilisation of the panel by program and plant buyers
• Ensure the reporting of his or her activities following defined policies
