SUMMER INTERSHIP: Work with a young and dynamic team for a tourism-related app

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Shanghai Jungle is currently looking for interns from/that have lived in the following European cities: Sevilla, Granada, Bilbao, Santiago, Lisbon, Bordeaux, Dublin, etc. The internship is for a minimum of 10 weeks up to 6 months. 
• While you will be working with tasks related to all the company's business, the main focus will be to act as project manager for a new app and website targeting Chinese travelers to Europe.
• The project team consists of 8+ people. The team works as a tightly knit unit and there will be no lack of leadership. 
• We expect you to take full responsibility for all aspects related to your portfolio. In other words: We are looking for someone who wants to have an internship in China where your work will matter and make a real difference. 
• Our ambition level is high, and we will meet it: We are going to create a travel universe for Chinese travelers which is so awesome, that travelers from the rest of the world will be envious that they are not Chinese. This includes a dramatic departure from how apps are normally made by Tripadvisor, Lonely Planet etc. mainly by including tons of cool and crazy content, not normally seen in guides. 
• In short: It. Must. Not. Be. Boring.

Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic and driven by the wish to make a difference, while at the same time able to find the right balance between creativity and self-structure. You know how to manage your time and while you definitely want your contribution to be the most awesome. You are curious and like a good party, while also not being afraid to work extra hours if needed. We work in teams. We like to laugh and make fun, and also often hang out together after work.

We are only completely uncompromising re. 2 prerequisites: 

• You must be fluent in English - and you must not be boring.

Basically, we handle all issues related to online marketing and sales in China. Moreover we take a 360 degree and hands-on approach to our clients needs in China: If they have a need, we will either fix it ourselves or find the people who can - and then get it done. We count numerous well known companies among our clients -incl. our VVIP customer The Royal Court of Denmark.
