Wuxi Fun Gifts Manufacturing (WFGM) is a Dutch manufacturing company in Wuxi, Jiangsu province in the south eastern part of China. The main product of WFGM is greeting cards with added micro electronic features such as; sound, light or even motion. The factory runs in a young and dynamic environment and currently employs around 800 FTE. For the Supply Chain process we encounter several issues which could make excellent use of an independent working intern.

ERP implementation projectThe intern will be concerned with the company/ software preparation and implementation of UFIDA ERP (a Chinese ERP software package). This internship will include a company wide review on current data and material flow. Starting from a helicopter view the intern will suggest and implement changes in information flow resulting in the best compatibility between software and internal organization. For this implementation a certain level of software customization is required, the intern must be able to liaison with the UFIDA software engineers and explain in detail the company requirements. This does not mean the intern has to be a professional programmer but a good understanding of Information Technology is a requirement.
